134th Annual Dinner Dance 2009

Von Mensch Lodge Celebrated this years 134th Anniversary at the Historic George Washington Manor in Roslyn. This must have been the first Dinner Dance after the long summer break, and it was good to see so many Brothers and their Spouses again. 

The George Washington Manor is a beautiful place and it's ambiance the ideal setting to celebrate a 134th Anniversary, or was we say it in German, "Stiftungefest". After a few introductions and short speeches, everyone was ready to let the Party begin. The Band the "Schwarzeneggers", together with a couple Jaegermeisters got everyone into the right mood to test if the dance legs still had it in them. The food was delicious - I still cant believe the size the Filet Mignon was, the Chef must have thought we are extra hungry and cut really big pieces. 

Everyone had a good time and is looking forward to the next chance to do the buggy... or hookey pookey or something.

Luckily, our next Dinner Dance is only two weeks away.
