Every year in late July we are having our Family Picnic in Tappan. The Summer break is rather long and the picnic gives us an oppertunety to come together with Family and Friends. Everyone is invited.

For the kids we have a Volley Ball net set up, but it's increasingly the parants who go out to play.

There is a lot of Food, most delicacies homemade by one or the other of the Ladies of the Lodge. No one ever goes home hungry.  The Picnic gives the brothers a chance to get to know our families and in small groups many masonic topics are discussed.

This years picnic had a special surprise for us. Brother Werner Graba presented to our newly elected Master W.: John Boyen a special Masonic Ring. This Gold ring is intended to be handed down from Master to Master of Allemania Lodge. Taken totally by surprise John Boyen thanked brother Werner for this precious Gift. We will need to establish a special plague to name all the Masters receiving the Ring in the coming years.
